Nazarovo State District Power Plant and the State Traffic Inspectorate summed up the results of the creative competition “Light and Safety”

On the eve of Power Engineer's Day, which is celebrated annually on December 22, Nazarovo State District Power Plant together with the State Traffic Inspectorate for the first time held a creative competition that combined the topics of family well-being and road safety.

The main idea of ​​the competition is to show how important light and warmth are for every family, and on the road – reflective elements that allow the driver to notice a pedestrian in the dark.

The competition was held in three categories. Work was accepted both individually and collectively – with the involvement of older family members, teachers and educators.

The award ceremony for the winners took place at the State Traffic Inspectorate. The awards were presented to the participants by the head of the State Traffic Inspectorate, police major Artem Yudin, and the general director of the Nazarovskaya State District Power Plant, Dmitry Morozov, who on this day tried on the role of Father Frost.

The organizers paid special attention to the work performed using coal technology. Pupils of the Sokhnovskaya school, under the guidance of additional education teacher Irina Shkalina, presented paintings created using Nazarovo coal.

According to the teacher, the history of coal technology at the school began in 2008. First, the teacher herself tested the method in practice – accidentally making the first test strokes with charcoal on paper. Then she showed the technique to the children, and since then, drawing with charcoal has become part of their creativity. To work out fine details, for example, facial features, the guys use burnt sticks.
