Antoine Semenyo is very close to a transfer to Manchester City. The Bournemouth player's representatives are in Manchester negotiating the final details of the contract.
At the same time, the “citizens” started talks with Bournemouth for the transfer of the extreme left, according to Sky Sports, quoted by sportal.bg.
Manchester City are negotiating the final details for Semenyo's transfer
Manchester City would pay 65 million pounds, approximately 74.5 million eurosfor the wing of 25 years. This is the amount stipulated in the termination clause of the footballer's contract, which will be active between January 1 and 10.
Talks between the two clubs will continue in the coming days and the Etihad club hope the transfer will be completed in the early hours of the new year.
Manchester City are the only club negotiating with Bournemouth, although there has been interest from Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham. The London Blues made a request but subsequently did not enter into negotiations.
Spurs turned to other targets. Despite speculation that Liverpool could step in at the last minute in the race for Semenyo's signature, that is not currently happening.
Manchester City, star attack
Despite the imminent signing of Semenyo, Pep Guardiola wants to keep Savinho and Omar Marmoush for the second half of the season. Thus, the attack of the “citizens” will look exceptional, with multiple options for Pep Guardiola.
Haaland, Foden, Cherki, Doku, Marmoush, Savinho and Semenyo will be the players for Guardiola's front 3 line in a 4-3-3 system. Foden and Cherki could drop down the middle, playing past and full.
