
She noted that store-bought fertilizers can be used to feed plants, but in order for orchids to bloom magnificently and for a long time, you can also prepare a homemade infusion. The florist emphasized that fertilizers prepared at home are much cheaper than store-bought ones, but are not inferior to them in effectiveness.
“One spoonful of fertilizing – and the orchids will bloom for a whole year,” the blogger assured.
She added that orchids like to be fed milk.
Preparing fertilizer
Mix 0.5 liters of water with 1 tbsp. l. homemade milk.
Using fertilizer
- Place the pot with the orchid in a large container and pour in the infusion. Leave for 15 minutes.
- After this time, drain the water and return the plant to its place.
- Repeat the procedure once every two weeks.
According to the florist, if you regularly feed the plants with this infusion, they will bloom all year long.
