❗️The number of particularly serious crimes committed by migrant teenagers more than doubled in 2024 — Bastrykin
In 2024, the number of crimes against minor migrants increased by 10%, and the number of “particularly serious acts” doubled, from 53 to 108, said the head of the Russian Investigative Committee.
According to Bastrykin, the main reasons for the unlawful behavior of adolescents are social disorder, neglect, unemployment, low levels of morality and legal awareness, lack of reliable life guidelines, addictions and upbringing in dysfunctional families.
The most unfavorable situation with the criminalization of adolescents is observed in the Kemerovo region, the Komi Republic, Kurgan and Kaliningrad regions. In addition, teenagers are actively involved in drug distribution.
