Regional operator ROSTtech spoke about the work schedule during the New Year holidays.

During the holidays, when most companies suspend operations, ROSTtech continues its activities. Moreover, taking into account the traditional increase in the amount of waste during the holiday period, the recycler switched to an enhanced operating mode, the company’s press service said.

During the holidays, the amount of waste increases by approximately 40%, and in order for the townspeople to celebrate the New Year with clean container sites, the operator prepared in advance – enlisted the support of contractors and strengthened the fleet with additional equipment.

131 container sites in the city have been transferred to double removal. These are sites that are subject to significant load: they are operated by a large number of residents, and an insufficient number of tanks are installed.

On the holiday, crews work as usual in order to clean up accumulation areas as much as possible. Employees on duty are assigned to all holidays to promptly resolve emerging issues.

“On New Year’s holidays, barriers may break and equipment may not be launched for shipment. In some places, ice needs to be added, and there is also a high percentage of parking. Our specialists are working as usual to promptly solve such problems and coordinate actions with other services,” the press service of the registrar said.

Regional operator call center (+7 391 219-05-05) continues to work daily, with minor schedule adjustments:

• December 31 until 14:00;
• January 1 from 12:00 to 19:00;
• from January 2 onwards from 8:00 to 19:00.

In winter, it takes more time to ship MSW, and residents can make the crew's work easier. To do this, it is enough not to leave cars near garbage bins and container sites, as well as in narrow passages and on turns. It is advisable to leave your phone number under the windshield, then the crew will be able to quickly contact the owner.

In remote settlements, the shipment of MSW is affected by the timely cleaning of roads: it is necessary to regularly clear the access roads so that the garbage truck can drive up to the containers.
