Customers who prefer to deposit funds in long-term deposits now have an additional option to choose from. Raiffeisen Digital Bank has introduced new periods for its standard deposit. They allow you to freeze your savings for a much longer period of time than before.

Last week, a new interest rate table appeared at Raiffeisen Digital Bank. From December 22 this year customers have the opportunity to open a Deposit for You in a standard variant for two new periods – for 24 months and 36 months. The rates for the mentioned terms are slightly lower than for shorter periods and are as follows:
- A deposit for you on 24 months – 3.80 percent per year,
- A deposit for you on 36 months – 3.50 percent on an annual basis.
Higher rates for new customers
The remaining deposits retained their current interest rates.
The highest rate is offered by the 3-month deposit for new customers – 5%. on an annual basis. A deposit with the same condition, but for a twice longer term, is subject to an interest rate of 4.80%. on an annual basis. Standard deposit for you, i.e. for customers who have already used the bank's savings offer and have a personal account opened before the start of the promotion (i.e. before November 30, 2025), can count on 4%. annually on deposits for a period of 3, 6 or 12 months.
The current offer for new customers is valid until December 29, 2025 After this date, rates may change.
A personal account is a requirement for opening a deposit
To open a term deposit with Raiffeisen Digital Bank, you must be the holder of a personal account from its offer. The bank does not charge any fees for maintaining an account – just like for servicing a virtual debit card. It is not possible to order a physical debit card.
Funds deposited for Raiffeisen Digital Bank products are protected by the Austrian deposit guarantee scheme, i.e. Österreichische Raiffeisen-Sicherungseinrichtung eGen. The deposit guarantee is the equivalent of PLN 100,000. euro. This is the same amount as in the case of BFG.
Interest on deposits held at Raiffeisen Digital Bank is subject not only to Polish tax liabilities, but also to Austrian tax at the rate of 25%. You can get relief from this obligation. To do this, you must complete an Austrian tax form (the link to which can be found on the bank's website), which should be sent to the Austrian address of Raiffeisen Digital Bank. The document must be signed by an official at the Polish tax office. You can also submit the document to the e-Tax Office. Then, an application for Austrian tax exemption can be submitted in the bank's mobile application.
