In Krasnoyarsk Green Grove, a major overhaul of another section of the collector was carried out

In the Krasnoyarsk microdistrict Zelenaya Roshcha, work on the repair of another section of the walk-through collector has been completed, the Krasnoyarsk mayor’s office reported.
Repair work was carried out in the following areas: on the street. Telman, 31, 31a, 33, 33a, 39, 41, 41a, 43; on the street Komarova, 8, 7, 7a; on the street Komarova, 6, 5, 3; on Ulyanovsky Ave., 26a, 26, 28, 30; near kindergarten No. 148 on the street. Komarova, 5a.
For repairs, the collector, located at a depth of about 3 meters, was partially dismantled and cleaned of the silt, debris and sediment that had accumulated there. Workers replaced 1.5 km of water mains and 1.3 km of sewer lines in the sewer. Specialists also updated 167 meters of heating networks. Old steel pipes were replaced with polymer ones, the necessary valves and new shut-off valves were repaired and installed, chambers, manholes and hatches were put in order.
“The networks in the collector were not just worn out, in some places they were completely rotten. During the period of perestroika and the 90s, no one serviced them,” said the press service of the city mayor’s office.
After completion of the repairs, all areas were filled and graded. Work to restore the amenities will begin in 2026, subject to suitable weather conditions.
The collectors and the networks located in them in Green Grove were built in the 1960s. Their major renovation began in 2018. The work is being carried out in stages. In total, it is planned to repair 21 km of communications. To date, 8,855 km of repairs have been completed. The communications upgrade will continue in 2026.
