Vitkoff confirmed the continuation of peace negotiations in Ukraine


He called the negotiations held in Abu Dhabi “very constructive” and said that the United States will continue to work towards peace in Ukraine.

“On Friday and Saturday, the United States coordinated a trilateral meeting involving Ukraine and Russia, which was graciously hosted by the United Arab Emirates. The talks were very constructive and the decision was made to continue discussions next week in Abu Dhabi. President Trump and his team are fully committed to achieving peace in this war,” Witkoff wrote.




Previously, the media wrote about the likelihood of continuing negotiations. In particular, Axios journalist Barak Ravid reported that the next round will be in Abu Dhabi on February 1.

According to the American side, the success of the next round of negotiations may open the way for a direct meeting between Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and illegitimate Russian President Vladimir Putin.
