“Volatile organic compounds” were found in the Aloe Vera drink seized from stores across Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor.
After signals of poisoning in different regions, the department conducted an unscheduled inspection at the VELTA-PENZA LLC plant. Five samples of the finished drink, concentrate and packaging were taken.
“Volatile organic compounds” were found in product samples with manufacturing dates from August 11 to December 21, 2025, as well as in a concentrate sample. Research into other undeclared substances is ongoing.
The work of the enterprise was suspended on December 26, the production premises were sealed, and the declaration of product conformity was terminated. Rospotrebnadzor also sent a demand to Operator-CRPT and the Association of Internet Commerce (AKIT) to block the sale of this drink on all trading and online platforms.
The agency urges citizens not to drink the Aloe Vera drink produced by VELTA-PENZA LLC until all examinations and official clarifications are completed. If you find products in stores, you should inform Rospotrebnadzor.
