Zelenogorsk residents are asked to take part in a survey about the Kan River embankment improvement project

In 2026, Zelenogorsk will take part in the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements, which is organized by the Russian Ministry of Construction.

Earlier, during an open vote, city residents chose the embankment of the river Kan territoryto her for design. Now Zelenogorsk it remains to be decided what the project for the improvement of this public space will be.

“Until April 3, residents of Zelenogorsk who visit the Kan River embankment can tell the design team how they see the future of this public space. The online survey includes questions about everyday practices on the territory and usage scenarios, personal stories and associations, problems and desired changes on the embankment, as well as a set of questions related to the perception of the city as a whole,” the organizers said.

The answers will allow us to find out the attitude of citizens towards the design area and record their wishes for how they would like to see the public space in the future. This will help the project team create the most suitable development plan for the Caen River embankment. The survey will last until April 3, you can fill out the form here.
