The President of the AUR, George Simion, reacted after the CCR judges did not take a decision on the law on the pensions of magistrates either on Monday, because the four judges proposed by the PSD did not appear at the meeting.

“CCR – the author of the coup”, the AUR leader wrote on Facebook, referring to the cancellation of the second round of the 2024 presidential elections, in which Elena Lasconi and Călin Georgescu had entered, sent to court for several charges, including actions against the constitutional order.

“What claims should we have from a captured, rotten and corrupt state?”, wrote George Simion on Facebook in a post that gathered 4,700 reactions, over 600 comments and almost 700 redistributions in the first hour.

His message came after the four CCR judges proposed by the PSD also boycotted the Monday meeting in which a decision was to be taken on the magistrates' pensions. A day ago, they left the room, and the decision could no longer be taken due to lack of quorum.

The president of CCR, Simina Tănăsescu, announced a new postponement for January 16, due to lack of quorum.

“I found today, like yesterday, that the quorum could not be met. In yesterday's meeting, the plenary session started in full formation. It decreased along the way, today it could not be met”, declared Simina Tănăsescu.
