A fire tornado struck the Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles. The fire continues to rage in the area, and the situation could get worse.
Fire whirls are rotating columns of hot air and gases rising from a flame. They uproot trees, overturn cars and rip roofs off houses. These pillars range in width from one to over 500 feet.
The disaster has already killed 11 people, and the houses of many celebrities have burned down.
