At 19.27 US President welcomed Volodymyr Zelensky. In one of his first sentences, Donald Trump announced that he wanted both presidents (of Ukraine and Russia) to conclude an agreement.
“Thank you for the invitation, thank you for meeting. We expect the next stage of negotiations” – admitted Volodymyr Zelensky. He added that work on the documents was ongoing and he appreciated the involvement of the US president.
“I believe that we are heading in this direction. Of the wars I have ended, this is the most difficult. I hope that today's meeting will be very good,” he pointed out. He added that he would also talk to Vladimir Putin again.
“We are in the final stage of talks. This war has been going on for a long time. If we don't end it, millions of people will die. We can perform the next steps very quickly“- said Donald Trump.
