Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz announces the signing of important contracts

He announced that On Monday morning, an agreement for the recapitalization of Zakłady Mechaniczne in Tarnów will be signed.
“This is an important stage for the development of the production capabilities of the company that supplies equipment for the Polish Army,” noted Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

He added that On Monday afternoon, a cooperation agreement between WB Electronics and HanwhaAerospace will be signed in Warsaw. “The beginning of the construction in Poland of a plant producing missiles for HOMAR-K multi-launch rocket launchers,” wrote the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów — an important player for Polish defense
As announced, Zakłady Mechaniczne “Tarnów” will be recapitalized, and this is a key enterprise of the Polish defense industry with over a hundred years of tradition, currently part of the Polish Armaments Group.
The company plays a strategic role in the state security sector as main supplier of modern small arms, anti-aircraft systems and training equipment for the Polish Armed Forces. In 2025, the company is actively developing innovative solutions, such as multi-layer anti-drone systems and fire units based on 30 mm cannons, which it presented during the prestigious MSPO 2025 fair.

The most recognizable products of the Tarnów plant include: Tor and Bor sniper rifles, UKM-2000P universal machine guns and mortarswhich are recognized not only in the country, but also on export markets, including Africa and Asia.
WB Electronics and HanwhaAerospace will sign an agreement
According to the announcement, a cooperation agreement will also be signed between WB Electronics and HanwhaAerospace.
WB Electronics is the foundation of the WB Group, i.e the largest private entity in the Polish defense industrywhich plays a key role in the digitization and modernization of the Polish Armed Forces. The company specializes in the design and production of advanced fire control systems (Topaz), communication platforms (Fonet) and world-renowned unmanned systems, such as FlyEye reconnaissance drones and Warmate loitering munitions.
In 2025, the company records record financial results, and its strategic importance is confirmed by its presence on the government's list of companies under special protection.
On the other hand Hanwha Aerospace is a South Korean technology and arms giant. The company provides the Polish army with advanced artillery systems, such as K9 Thunder howitzers and K239 Chunmoo multi-launch rocket launchers (Polish version: Homar-K), integrated with the domestic Jelcz chassis and WB Group command systems.
In September 2025, during the MSPO fair, Hanwha Aerospace and WB Group finalized an agreement to establish the first Polish-Korean joint venture, the aim of which is to build a factory in Poland for modern rocket ammunition with a range of up to 80 km.
