Negotiations on changing the EU passenger rights regulation still cannot be concluded. There is a tug of war between carriers and passengers. The EU consumer organization warns that if negotiators agree to loosen the regulations, EU passengers will be protected to a much lesser extent than they are guaranteed by the current regulations.
