The leader of “Batkivshchyna” on behalf of more than 200 veteran organizations will defend the following positions in the law:
– stopping corruption in the field of procurement of prostheses at state expense by introducing indicative prices;
– removal of the limitation of state funding for prosthetics of one limb, in order to be able to purchase the most effective and most modern prosthesis, including bionic and osseointegration ones, for a wounded soldier at state expense;
– giving the wounded soldier the right to freely and without restrictions choose the best prosthesis, using the advice of professional doctors and prosthetists;
– carry out treatment and rehabilitation of wounded soldiers, veterans, released from captivity of military personnel until full recovery at state expense;
– the duty of medical and rehabilitation institutions after the completion of treatment to send wounded soldiers to the VLK and only after the VLK concludes that the person is fit for army service, send them to the front line.
Today, after treatment and rehabilitation, disabled wounded soldiers are immediately sent to the front without the conclusions of the VLK. And only the commander of the military unit, after the arrival of the wounded in the military unit, decides whether to send him to the VLK or not. As a rule, they no longer direct.
