Andrei Nicolescu (49 years old), the president of Dinamo, announced that the goalkeeper Codruț Sandu (19 years old), on loan for this season at Corvinul Hunedoara, is now returning to the formation of “Ștefan cel Mare” and will do the winter camp with Zeljko Kopic and Dinamo.
Codruț Sandu, the legitimate goalkeeper at the beginning of this season after playing for the last time at FCU Craiova, has very solid developments in League 2, at Hunedoreni, with whom he is the leader in the second echelon and with whom he has a good chance of promotion in the first league.
This winter, the player who belongs to Dinamo will return temporary to “dogs”, next to which will go to the training camp in Turkeyafter which he will return to Corvinul, where he will finish the season, and his loan will expire only in the summer.

Dinamo, through the voice of the president Andrei Nicolescu, said that they are still monitoring Codruț Sandu, who could be kept in the first team from the summer, if he continues to have good developments in the first half of 2026.
“We are satisfied with Codruț's developments at Corvinul. We are delighted with this collaboration. Codruț is still being monitored by us very carefully. Codruț needed a place to play.
In the loan agreement, we have an agreement with Corvinul that this winter, Codruț will return to Dinamo for a while and train with us. He will go with us to the training camp in Antalya, then after the period with us he will return to Corvinul, where he will also train with them, and then he will continue his loan until the end of the agreement with Corvinul.
And then we will draw a line and decide what Codruț Sandu's situation will be for the next championship. But, it's good that he has very good developments at Corvinul, and now he will again have the opportunity to train with Dinamo for a while. All these things were very well thought out from the beginning”, said Andrei Nicolescu, quoted by prosport.ro.
Along with Corvinul Hunedoara, Codruț Sandu is the leader in League 2, with 43 points, 7 more than the chasing Sepsi.
He received 9 goals in the current season, Corvinul having by far the best defense, after 17 matches played.

Codruț did part of the juniors at Dinamo, after which he reached the juniors of Steaua Bucharest. The “military” then handed it over to the Rapid court. Giulești loaned him to LPS HD Clinceni for a year, and then transferred him to Adrian Mititelu's team.
It is 1.91 meters tall and specialist websites have quoted it at 350,000 euros.
