A man molested a sixth-grader in a taxi from Zheleznogorsk to Krasnoyarsk

In a private taxi traveling from Zheleznogorsk to Krasnoyarsk, a passenger pestered a sixth-grader. The girl's mother reported this to Newslab.

Student andEleznogorsk Mariinsky Women's Gymnasium on the evening of December 25 was supposed to return home to Krasnoyarsk. The parents found a taxi through a group on social networks. When boarding, there was already a man in the back seat. The driver asked the girl to sit forward to minimize contact. However, the passenger waited until he left the cabin and began to pester the child.

He reached between the door and the seat and began to touch the child's neck, head and chest, and then, holding her head, kissed her on the cheek. Upon returning, the driver stopped the actions and spoke sternly to the passenger.

Later, already in Krasnoyarsk, the man began to pester her again: he put his hand under the girl’s down jacket and stuck his fingers under her jeans. The sixth-grader hit him with her elbow and moved as far forward as possible, after which the man fell asleep.

The parents immediately contacted the police. Based on the child’s description, detectives quickly identified the suspect and presented his photo for identification. It turned out that immediately after disembarking at the Krasnoyarsk railway station, he was detained by transport police for drinking alcohol. In addition, the man had 21 administrative offenses and three criminal cases.

The police press service confirmed the information and added that the man was detained on December 26. The case was transferred to the Investigative Committee. A criminal case may be initiated against the passenger under the article of sexual assault against a minor.
