The grand final “Chefs la cutite”, broadcast on Wednesday night on Antena 1, was won by Luca Zvaleni from the team of chef Richard Abou Zaki. He managed to impress the judges and win the prize worth 30,000 euros.
“I don't think so. I was the happiest at that moment, I managed to reach my goal: to show on the plate who Luca Zvaleni is,” said the winner.
“Knife Chefs” season 16
The 16th season of the culinary competition “Chefs with Knives”, broadcast on Antena 1, announced its grand winner on Wednesday evening.
The names of the finalists were revealed during the December 24 show. Nine semi-finalists started the show, but only four of them made it to the end.
Ștefana Mercori (red team), Bogdan Panaite (blue team), Luca Zvaleni (green team) and Alexandru Helju (yellow team) were the four finalists who fought in the grand final for the “Knife Chefs” trophy and the grand prize, worth 30,000 euros. They formed their own teams to cook with.
The four chefs Richard Abou Zaki, Alexandru Sautner, Ștefan Popescu and Orlando Zaharia tasted the dishes and offered advice to the competitors. The guests, chefs as well, decided the big winner of the season: Luca Zvaleni.
