More than 1.6 thousand packs of counterfeit cigarettes were seized in the Krasnoyarsk pavilion

In Krasnoyarsk, the prosecutor's office took control of the case of counterfeit tobacco products.

According to the supervisory authority, in the fall of 2025 in the shopping pavilion on the street. Krasnomoskovskaya in Krasnoyarsk, a local resident was illegally selling cigarettes, without having an entrepreneur registration and a license for this type of activity. Buyers had no idea that they were purchasing counterfeit goods.

“Law enforcement agencies carried out a routine check in the pavilion under the sign “Tobacco”. Inside, the shelves were filled with tobacco products bearing counterfeit tax stamps. The examination showed that the stamps were printed using a homemade offset method, and not on special equipment from Goznak – a clear sign of counterfeit intended for the black market,” told the prosecutor's office.

According to this fact, ina criminal case has been initiated according to Part 5 of Art. 171.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation about illegal tobacco trafficking. All goods were seized from illegal circulation in quantity more than 1.6 thousand packs.
