Krasnoyarsk residents are unhappy with the commission when replenishing transport cards

December 24 16:10

Residents of Krasnoyarsk and the region express dissatisfaction with the commission that Russian Post takes when replenishing transport and social cards. From December 1, 10 rubles are charged per person for each replenishment in branches.

“What kind of extortions are these? Why on earth should I leave my hard earned money at the post office? Have you ever seen price tags in stores? Products are not getting cheaper, and wages remain as meager as they were 5 years ago. If someone really wants to sponsor Russian Post, let him do it himself, on a voluntary basis. There’s no point in robbing ordinary people,” an angry Krasnoyarsk woman wrote to Newslab.

The press service of Russian Post reported that no one is “robbing” anyone, it’s just that in these circumstances the post office acts as a paying agent. The fact is that accepting payments, including replenishing transport and social cards, is a commercial service. A commission of 10 rubles covers the costs of the branches for collecting and processing such transactions.

Those who do not agree with these terms can replenish their balance online – in the banking application or the T-card application. There is no need to pay a commission for this, but there are some nuances.

“For the card to become available for online replenishment in the mobile application, you must first pay for at least one trip using it. If no trips have been registered on your social card balance before December 1, you will not be able to top up your card online. It is recommended to contact one of the testing points of GPKK Krasnoyarskavtotrans,” the regional Ministry of Transport reported.

In Krasnoyarsk, testing points for transport and social cards of GPKK Krasnoyarskavtotrans are located at the following addresses:

  • Novosibirskaya street, 64 (Telecomservice branch, first floor, payment acceptance hall, window without a number, signed “Testing point for IC and TC”);
  • Ustinovicha Street, 5 (ground floor, payment acceptance hall, window without a number, signed “Testing point for IC and TC”);
  • Vavilova street, 49v – office 1-06 on the first floor (it is also signed “Testing point for IC and TC”).

You can receive prompt assistance on issues related to the use of social and transport cards by calling the toll-free number: 8 (800) 200-55-75. For other issues within the competence of the Ministry of Transport, citizens can call the hotline 122.
