The Government introduced several Government decisions regarding the supplementing of the budgets of some ministries with money from the budget reserve fund at the meeting held on Tuesday evening, at the Victoria Palace. Allocating large sums from the reserve fund is a regular practice of the Government at the end of the year. All governments have thus fed the budgets of some ministries or town halls that ran out of money at the end of the year for urgent payments.

In total, the amounts stipulated in the decisions on the Government's table amount to almost 3.3 billion lei.

Why does the Ministry of Environment receive over 300 million lei

The Ministry of Energy receives 473 million lei, commitment credits and budget credits, from the Budget Reserve Fund, for the return of state aid granted to the Oltenia Energy Complex.

The Ministry of the Environment receives 203 million lei representing commitment credits and budget credits, from the reserve fund. The reason given is that the Ministry of the Environment does not have funds

sufficient to ensure the payment of the forestry services provided by the nominated forestry districts for the owners of forest land with areas of maximum 30 ha and for the payment of related compensations to forest land owners who have restrictions on the harvesting of wood mass.

The Ministry of the Environment receives another 101 million lei, from the Budgetary Reserve Fund, for the maintenance of horses in the National Stud category.

And the Romanian Broadcasting Society ran out of money at the end of the year

The Ministry of Health receives 1.9 billion lei for materials and services of a medical nature and expenses for medical leaves and social health insurance allowances.”

The Ministry of National Defense receives 300 million lei, representing commitment credits and budget credits, for the payment of obligations from contracts concluded for the purchase of military equipment and ensuring the financing of military infrastructure projects

The Romanian Broadcasting Company receives 6 million lei to finance current expenses.

The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration receives 200 million lei for the financing of the National Program for constructions of public or social interest

The National Veterinary Sanitary and Food Safety Authority receives 101 million lei for the settlement of outstanding payments regarding the activities and actions carried out by the authorized free-practice veterinarians.
