Sometimes even the most expensive cleanser may not cope – the face still shines, and makeup gets clogged into enlarged pores. But don't get discouraged: there's a simple trick that can turn your cleanser into a miracle peel. The author of the Zen blog “Healthy” (18+) spoke about it.
The secret is very simple – try adding a pinch of regular baking soda directly to your face wash. Just sprinkle just a little bit so as not to harm the skin.
Baking soda works as a gentle scrub: it removes excess oil, cleanses pores until they are squeaky clean, and even helps even out your complexion. Plus, it can lighten acne marks and make your skin look more even. By the way, many Korean brands already use soda in their famous mini-peelings.
Remember that after peeling, the face requires mandatory toning and moisturizing.
Important: before trying this method, be sure to consult a dermatologist or cosmetologist. Even if you get approval, test the mixture on a small area of skin first. If you have dry or very sensitive skin, or have inflammation, it is better not to use this method.
