Maguchikh said she did not want to comment on this.
“I’ll also ask about the wedding: will it happen in the near future?” – the interviewer clarified.
“No, it won’t,” said the athlete.
When asked why this happened, Maguchikh said that it was personal and she did not want to comment.

In October 2024, Maguchikh announced that she and Stepanov had postponed their wedding. “Unfortunately, we can’t hold a wedding ceremony now, because I would really like to get married in Ukraine, in the Dnieper. But we can’t do this because of the war. There’s no such opportunity now and, frankly, I don’t want to, it’s not the right time,” said Maguchikh. “Although, on the other hand, they seem to say that you have to live life here and now, because you’re young, in your prime, let’s say.”
Maguchikh, who actively blogs on Instagram, published her last photo together with Stepanov back in April.
