Schoolchildren from Krasnoyarsk and Divnogorsk made an educational journey on the “Fairytale Express” of Krasnoyarsk Railways

The glowing train made a special pre-New Year flight: a trip along the route Krasnoyarsk – Divnogorsk as part of the children's educational project of Krasnoyarsk railway workers “Fairytale Express”.

The express passengers were more than 300 primary school students from Krasnoyarsk schools No. 159, No. 86, No. 9 and Divnogorsk gymnasium No. 10, located next to the tracks.

The adventures of young travelers began at the Yenisei station in Krasnoyarsk. Here, when the train stopped, the heroes of famous winter fairy tales entered the carriages.

On the way to Divnogorsk, they showed the children a play about the rules of safe behavior on the railway, staged in the “theater in a carriage” format.

Fairy-tale characters reminded young viewers of why a train cannot stop instantly, the dangers of electric wires over the tracks, why one should not climb under or onto carriages, and why take off headphones when approaching the railway.

In order for schoolchildren to better understand the rules, drivers of the Krasnoyarsk Mainline gave them a tour of the Divnogorsk station: they showed what pedestrian crossings, viaducts, boundary lines on platforms are and how to choose the safest route to cross the tracks.

The finale of the trip on the Fairy Tale Express was the appearance of Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. They repeated all the rules with the children, congratulated them on the upcoming New Year and presented them with gifts.

The children's educational safety project “Fairytale Express” started on the Krasnoyarsk Mainline in 2022. Since then, every year before the onset of winter holidays, schoolchildren from Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory become its participants.

The educational project “No tricks!” has become especially popular. is a scientific show in which children are helped to learn the rules of behavior on the railway using the laws of physics and chemistry, as well as a theatrical event at pedestrian crossings in Krasnoyarsk, which is held on the eve of September 1.
