The team of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station organized exhibitions on the Day of Memory and Sorrow / News of the Society of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory / Newslab.ru

On the eve of the 84th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, employees of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station organized a broadcast of videos and photo exhibitions on Russian defenders.

Employees and guests of the station can see videos and two exhibitions in the lobby of the service and production corps (SEC) of the hydroelectric power station. The mobile exhibition works in educational institutions and culture of the city of Kodinsk, students of the Center for Additional Education, visitors to the Kezhema District Library and other organizations will be able to get acquainted with it.

The cycle of video recordings in which employees of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station and divisions of the RusHydro group talk about their relatives-participants in the Great Patriotic War, was launched during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory. Although the work on collecting and maintaining information about veterans was started at the station several years ago, power sections continue to search and from time to time complement family stories with new important details.

The exhibition “Between the past and the future” was prepared by the initiative group of HPP employees. It included photographs of veterans – relatives of the employees of the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station, photocopies of archival documents about their combat and labor exploits. Some of the photographs are devoted to the events of our days at the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station-including actions dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory. The threads on which exhibits of the exhibition are suspended symbolize the inextricable connection between generations.

Twenty -two posters dedicated to power plants of the RusHydro group are located on the second floor of the SEC. Another set is in the center of additional education and will soon be transferred to the district library. A couple of posters are devoted to each power plant – one talks about the history of the station during the war years, the second shows its modern form.

May GRES, Uglich and Rybinsk hydroelectric power station and other stations in the western regions were built before the war, they provided the energy of the enterprise that worked for defense. The Baksanskaya hydroelectric power station was practically destroyed during the battle for the Caucasus, but the equipment was hidden, and by the end of 1943 the station was restored. The stations that were in the deep rear also contributed to the victory – Khabarovsk, Yakutskaya, Vladivostok, Komsomol and Artemovskaya TPP: their energy entered enterprises that produced weapons and ammunition.

The work of exhibitions will last until the end of the year, employees of the Boguchansk HPP plan to familiarize all employees and guests of the station, including participants in excursions and students arriving in practice. On the eve of Victory Day, eight stands were discovered on the alley of glory, dedicated to the biographies of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the history of the Kezhemsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Hundreds of residents and guests of the district who visited the observation deck of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station have already familiarized themselves with stories and photos.
