In Krasnoyarsk, a contractor has been appointed for the construction of a school on the street. Elena Stasova in the Vetluzhanka microdistrict. This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

Based on the results of the auction, build school will be JSC Firm Kultbytstroy. The customer of the work is the Capital Construction Department. Municipal contract cost amounts to 2.6 billion rubles.

“The company has a long track record in the construction of schools: it is currently building an institution in the Michurinsky microdistrict, and previously commissioned facilities in Severny and Solnechny. All work went on schedule. I will note that this school will differ from the projects previously completed by the municipality in its architectural appearance – the building is designed as a cascade type, from the front entrance it will visually resemble a bird spreading its wings. Also, the abundance of stained glass windows and the color scheme in light gray tones will give the building “lightness”. There is an amphitheater in the school yard,” said the deputy head of the city, head of the urban planning department, Sergei Shikunov.

A new school in the Oktyabrsky district will appear at the intersection of Elena Stasova and Chernyshev streets, where there is a plot of land free from development. Previously, this territory was considered federal property, but in 2023 it was provided to the city for indefinite use for the implementation of a social facility.

The building is designed for 1280 educational places. The school will consist of four educational and administrative blocks. In addition to classrooms, a medical block, an assembly hall, a catering unit, a library, workshops for carpentry, cutting and sewing, home economics, woodworking and others were designed. A comprehensive sports ground is provided on the territory of the institution. It includes fields for playing volleyball, basketball and mini-football. During the cold season, the basketball court will “turn” into a skating rink, and for the comfort of students, the builders will install a heated pavilion next to the court.

In the near future, the contractor will fence the site and begin preparatory work. The educational institution should be fully ready in the summer of 2028. It is planned that on September 1, 2028 the children will go to the new school.

The mayor's office added that this is not the only educational institution whose construction will begin in 2026. In December, a contract was signed for the construction of a facility on the street.
