The American and Ukrainian delegations welcomed the discussions on Sunday, December 21, in a joint statement “productive and constructive” during the negotiations organized in Miami, in the presence of the European allies, in order to end the war in Ukraine, according to AFP, Reuters and EFE.

“During the last three days in Florida, the Ukrainian delegation had a series of productive and constructive meetings with its American and European partners”according to the press release distributed on the X platform by Donald Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and Kiev's chief negotiator, Rustem Umerov, according to Agerpres, which cites the three foreign agencies.

“A separate, constructive meeting in the US-Ukraine format”

Witkoff stated that European allies participated in the meeting “to coordinate a common strategic approach between Ukraine, the United States and Europe”.

“There was also a separate, constructive meeting in the US-Ukraine format, during which four key documents were addressed: the further development of a 20-point plan, the alignment of positions on a framework for ensuring the security of Ukraine by the US and the future development of an economic and prosperity plan“, said the special envoy of Donald Trump.
