Adrian Mihalcea (49 years old), the technician from UTA Arad, drew the first conclusions after his team won clearly, score 2-0, at home, in the last match of 2025, against Dinamo.
Former player and coach at the team from Ștefan cel Mare, Mihalcea said it directly that he is still a Dynamo player, even if he stopped his soul team from the way to the first place. However, the technician from Arada hopes that Kopic's team will be the champion this season.
Speaking about his team, Mihalcea analyzed what happened recently in Arad and talked a little about the mercato period in the winter, being aware that he can lose Valentin Costache and Alin Roman, the fittest players he now has at his disposal, if a good offer for the club comes in their name.
Adrian Mihalcea's conclusions, after ending 2025 successfully against Dinamo
“I knew they had quality in attack, we scored on positive transitions and had other clear opportunities. If you don't score with Dinamo, it's possible they'll penalize you, but that wasn't the case today.
I'm glad we have this good streak going, I hope we can extend it after the holidays. Yes, indeed they have the best year of their career, and Costache and Alin, I know, but the club will decide whether in the event of offers they will sell them or not. I am the coach of the team, I work with what I have available.
We have to think about what we want, there will be a quiet period and not much. We have to know what we want, if we want to give these people “food” next year too, we have to bring more players.
It is also possible in this formula to reach good positions, especially since the injured are coming back. The management knows what I want, which players should come, in which positions, and which players, unfortunately, should leave.
But it's not my decision, we'll see, we'll talk in the coming days. Now we're taking it easy, it's been nice and warm so far, but we have to strategize.
I'm a dynamist, I didn't shy away, I didn't give up, I was a little disappointed when I was a coach, but this club made me a man in my everyday life and in the life of a coach, so I never could give up, I still wish them to win the championship”, said Adrian Mihalcea, after the match, on the “Digi Sport Special” microphone.
