George Pușcaș requests a huge salary for the Romanian championship level, which prevents a possible transfer to Dinamo.
GSP announced exclusively that the former top of the first national team could end up in the “dogs” gear, and Zeljko Kopic confirmed the interest in the striker in the press conference preceding the dispute with UTA Arad, the last of the year, which will take place tonight, from 20:30.
Later, the renowned journalist Nicolo Schira announced the fact that George Pușcaș is very close to second place in the Superliga. From the first instance, Gazeta noted that it was “very difficult” for the transfer to materialize.
George Pușcaș, “stellar” salary for the Superliga!
The reason? The striker with 11 goals in 46 selections for the first national team has some difficult financial claims for the “dogs”: around 50,000 euros monthly! It would still be a drop from the top salary in Bodrum, around 70,000 as monthly remuneration.
In these conditions, the red-white officials are just groping the track, there is real interest, but it would be necessary for Pușcaș, if he does not find a team by the end of the mercato period, to waive claimshoping that there is a chance to return to the “tricolor” circuit.
Moreover, he would not lack offers, teams from the United Arab Emirates or China are interested in him, as the journalist Emanuel Roșu stated on his Facebook page.
Thus, the only option for the former top of the national team to end up in red and white depends on two things: failure to materialize any of the offers received at his address + giving up salary claims.

UTA Arad – Dinamo, the last game of 2025 of the “dogs” will take place tomorrow evening, from 20:30.

If Dinamo wins, and FC Botoșani gets at most a draw or loses with CFR Cluj (or wins with the same number of goals or with fewer goals), and Rapid does not prevail in the derby with FCSB, the “dogs” will end 2025 in first place in the Superleague.
