The dynamics of the Polish economy, efficient infrastructure and bold digital policy show how pragmatic actions support the country's development. In these areas, Poland provides impulses from which Germany could undoubtedly learn, wrote the portal of the Bavarian daily Augsburger Allgemeine.

The newspaper from Augsburg, the third largest city in Bavaria, emphasized that while Germany has been in recession for three years, Poland has been recording steady economic growth. “The country has increased military spending, the streets are clean and the trains are punctual. Has Poland become a model for Germany?” – wonders “Augsburger Allgemeine”.

The daily praised the Polish infrastructure. “Clean roads without potholes, bridges that do not threaten to collapse, and Polish railways are much more punctual than German ones,” he noted. He added that Poland is making huge progress in digitalization. “In Polish cities, even retirees pay by card or smartphone, as if it were something natural,” he noted.

The newspaper pointed out that Poland's development is closely related to the EU funds the country uses and the German economy. “If Germany continues to lag behind, Poland's success may also be undermined.” – rated.

The newspaper also pointed to Poland's investments in defense. “Thanks to them, the country is positioning itself as a military pillar on NATO's eastern flank. The army is arming itself and taking advantage of the government's decisive security policy,” said the Bavarian daily.

He cited the voices of experts who warn that the armament puts too much emphasis on heavy weapons, such as tanks or fighters. “The development of drone capabilities and modern methods of warfare is delayed. Poland, like Germany, is also struggling with logistical challenges and the question of how to achieve ambitious goals regarding the number of armed forces,” noted “Augsburger Allgemeine”.

According to the daily, there are limited possibilities of transferring Poland's success to Germany. “It is largely based on EU funds and is closely linked to the German economy. If Germany's strength continues to weaken, Poland's model of success will also begin to falter. Skepticism towards migration (in Poland – PAP) also deepens the labor shortage, and social cohesion is increasingly threatened by society's polarization and disinformation,” the Bavarian newspaper concluded.
