The prosecutor's office revealed fraud with early retirement at a school in the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor's office stopped an attempt to obtain an early pension by deception.

As the press service of the supervisory agency reported, in the fall of 2024, in the Evenki region, a young personnel specialist at a local high school decided to move to Abakan. She transferred to remote work at the republican center, while maintaining her position with additional payments: 30% of the northern coefficient and 25% for “rural areas.”

Wanting an early pension for her “northern experience,” the woman changed the data in the reports for the pension fund: instead of the Far North region, she put a locality equivalent to it. However, Abakan is not included in these zones and there is no right to benefits. As a result, the employer entered false information into the Pension and Social Insurance Fund.

The fraud was discovered by the prosecutor's office during an inspection, a report was made to the school director, and information was sent to the pension fund. Thus, illegal “northern” experience is excluded, additional payments are subject to withholding – the amount is calculated.

“The employee lost her illusions about early retirement, and the school received a signal: the deputy director, acting as head – her mother, did not notify the commission on compliance with official conduct requirements about the conflict of interest when making decisions on setting bonuses. Based on the results of consideration of the submission, direct subordination to the relative is excluded,” the prosecutor’s office said.
