December 19 15:03

The government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory summed up the results of work to improve wages in the public sector and discussed further measures to increase the income of this category of workers.

Currently, more than 230 thousand people work in the public sector of the region. In recent years, decisions have been made aimed at increasing wages: in 2022–2023 – through indexations that ensure an increase in the minimum wage; in 2024–2025 – by establishing monthly payments to all state employees. It is noted that this approach made it possible to avoid increasing disproportions in wages against the backdrop of rapid growth of the minimum wage.

In 2026, wage growth will also be ensured by increasing monthly payments. The incomes of public sector employees will increase from the new year: the total increase will be from 7,448 rubles in the central and southern territories of the region, to 12,103 rubles in Norilsk and Taimyr. The increase will apply to all state employees at their main place of work.

In addition to measures to increase public sector incomes, nand the regional working group aboutThe main attention was paid to increasing the guaranteed part of wages and maintaining balance in the levels of wages for workers of different qualifications. The discussion was conducted taking into account federal decisions, including a gradual increase in the minimum wage and tasks for meeting the targets set by the May decrees of the Russian President. The results of the implementation of a pilot project to change the salary structure in educational institutions, including the minimum official salaries, were also summed up. The experience gained is planned to be used in other industries.

“The decisions taken in the region over the past few years have made it possible to synchronize wage growth with an increase in the minimum wage, fulfill the target indicators of the May decrees and maintain differentiation in wage levels. In close cooperation with the deputy corps and trade union organizations, we will continue this work,” summed up the region’s Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bakhar.
