Closed cities will be added to the Zemstvo Teacher program in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

19 December 17:09

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, closed administrative-territorial entities will be added to the “Zemstvo Teacher” program, regardless of population size.

This decision was made the day before at the session of the Legislative Assembly. The amendments have been prepared for consideration in two readings by the parliamentary committee on education and culture, chaired by Vera Oskina. They are expanding the category of recipients of a one-time payment for teachers who move to work in a rural area or a city with a population of up to 50 thousand inhabitants.

Now teachers who move to work in closed administrative-territorial entities can receive payments, regardless of population size. In addition, the document excludes the condition regarding the “remoteness” of the future place of work. In the current version, the locality for the planned move must be located at a distance of more than 200 kilometers from the specialist’s place of residence at the time of filing the application.

The amendments will also establish the non-declaration nature of providing compensation to the winners of the competition.
