The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory insisted on the overhaul of the kindergarten in the village Big Urya Kansky district.
The supervisory authority found that while the children played and studied in the building of 1980 of the building, it gradually became the threat of their safety:
“The building has a 58 % wear – this is a critical indicator. Construction structures became unusable and were evaluated as “limited-working”. Emergency-hazardous areas were identified inside the premises. In fact, for many years the preschool institution has been operated with gross violations of the requirements of the Law on Education and Security. The municipality, whose responsibilities include the maintenance of buildings, knew about problems, but did not take any real measures. “
The prosecutor's office appealed to the court with a request to force the local administration to overhaul the kindergarten building. The lawsuit was satisfied, the court decided to carry out work in accordance with the project over the next year. The execution of the decision is under strict control.
