The President of USR, Dominic Fritz, announced that on Thursday, from 12:00, there will be a meeting, in online format, of the Political Committee, during which the party will validate the proposals for the Ministries of Defense and Economy.

“Radu Miruță's proposal for the Ministry of Defense is a natural one considering the rigor he has shown in government activity, but also in the context of his direct and consistent involvement in the implementation of the SAFE Program in Romania, a program for endowment of the Army with interaction between the Ministry of Defense and the national defense industry from the Ministry of Economy”, USR transmitted.

“During the six months of my mandate at the Ministry of Economy, I have demonstrated that I can put an institution on the right track, that I can eliminate injustices and that I know how to exploit Romania's natural resources. I have full confidence that my successor will maintain this line, and I will remain a constant support in the Government for the continuity of these projects. At the same time, I consider it essential to strengthen the Defense sector, strengthen industrial capacities and modernize production, so that Romania is better prepared for the current security challenges”, he stated Radu Miruță.
