Deputies of the Krasnoyarsk City Council supported the initiative of the regional public organization of disabled people, the Chernobyl Union, to install a sculptural composition on the Alley of Chernobyl Heroes in the Severny microdistrict. The mayor's office spoke about this.
Monument participants in the liquidation of the consequences of the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant 1986-1990 It is planned to install it near house No. 2 on Komsomolsky Avenue at the intersection with Mate Zalki Street.
The sketch for the future monument was developed by Krasnoyarsk sculptor Konstantin Zinich.
The installation date for the monument has not yet been announced.
Let us remind you that 393 Krasnoyarsk residents were awarded orders and medals of the USSR and the Russian Federation for the courage and heroism shown during the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl accident.
