SoyuzMash enterprises will continue to develop the donor movement

SoyuzMash enterprises will continue to develop the donor movement. The corresponding agreement on joint work in this direction was signed on December 16 at the site of JSC Krasmash. The document was certified by the signatures of the chairman of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, the general director of Krasmash JSC Alexander Gavrilov and the chief physician of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Blood Center (KRBC) Natalya Filina.

The representative of the Blood Service thanked the head for his cooperation and emphasized that mechanical engineers are active participants in the donor movement. Industry workers donate blood both during independent visits to the KCCC and during on-site campaigns by doctors at enterprises. According to Natalya Filina, this year the title “Honorary Donor of Russia” was awarded to 14 representatives of Krasmash JSC.

Alexander Gavrilov, in his response, emphasized that the plant has been supporting the donor movement for many decades and is a participant in it.

“This is a long tradition. A lot of young people come to work at the enterprises of the regional branch, who will be a good help for blood donation,” noted Alexander Gavrilov.

Alexander Fedorovich also suggested that doctors organize joint information and explanatory work among enterprise employees about bone marrow donation.

Let us add that today the country maintains a Federal Register of Bone Marrow and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Donors. Since December 2022, Krasnoyarsk residents also have the opportunity to add their name to this nationwide database thanks to the cooperation of the regional Blood Service with the Kirov Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia.

After signing the agreement, the ceremony participants exchanged memorable branded gifts.
