Iran struck key facilities in Kuwait. “Immediate Consequences”

Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity and Water said technical emergency teams were working to secure the area and maintain the operation of the facilities that were the target of the attack.
Kuwait operates several large, integrated power plants and water desalination plants throughout the country. They constitute the core of the national network of municipal services. Power plant disruptions could also have immediate consequences, as Kuwait must continually desalinate water to meet domestic demand.

Earlier in the day, authorities in Kuwait reported that an Iranian drone attack had caused a fire at one of the country's three oil refineries.
Airstrikes by Israeli and US forces on Iran have been ongoing since February 28.
