In the north of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, at the airport in the village of Turukhansk, a turboprop aircraft for local airlines DHC-6 Twin Otter Series 400 rolled off the runway. This was reported by the Federal Air Transport Agency, the prosecutor's office and the transport department of the Investigative Committee.
The incident occurred on December 16 at about 20:00 when an Art Avia airline aircraft was landing, performing a business flight from Igarka.
It is known that there were no passengers or cargo on the plane.
“Only two pilots were on board and they were not injured. On the flight schedule at the airport what happened no impact. At 22:24 hours the plane was towed to the parking lot. Specialists Rosaviatsia classified the event as serious aviation incident“, said department press secretary Artem Korenyako.
The causes and circumstances of the air incident are being established, as well as the extent of the damage.
