A solemn ceremony for presenting the first passports took place in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, young residents of the city were solemnly presented with their first passports. The documents were received by teenagers who have achieved particular success in their studies and social activities, and by children whose fathers defend the interests of the country in the Northeast Military District zone.
The ceremony took place in an iconic place – the National Center “Russia”, the creation of which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This space united the achievements of our country, region, and city. The schoolchildren were presented with passports by the acting mayor of the city, Roman Odintsov, the chairman of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of Deputies, Natalia Firyulina, the head of the Krasnoyarsk Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Gennady Berezin, and a participant in the special operation, the social coordinator of the regional branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, Alexey Gladyshev.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Roman Odintsov made a welcoming speech. He thanked the parents of the young activists for raising their children well, and also asked the teenagers not to forget in any case what a wonderful city they live in – their small homeland.
“You start with a clean slate, it’s up to you what information will appear on the pages of your passport: marital status, children. Never forget: who you are, where you come from, what wonderful country, region, city you live in. Now Krasnoyarsk is preparing for a big anniversary, I am sure you will take an active part in this work. Today in the hall are those who are already showing a responsible attitude towards life through their actions,” said the acting head of the city.
Among those who received their first passport in a solemn ceremony was Stefania Shishkus, an 8th grade student at the Pokrovsky Complex. The girl is an active participant in school and city events; she enjoys dancing, drawing and acting.
“I am glad to be an activist of the First Movement, I feel a sense of pride that I am receiving a passport in such an environment. Now I am a full-fledged citizen of Russia! I will be responsible for myself, I will be devoted to my Motherland,” Stefania promised.
The document was also issued to a student at school No. 143, Sofya Lobanova. The girl has been doing circus acrobatics since the age of three, and is also learning to play the guitar and weave beadwork.
“I have been an activist since childhood. I decided that it was important and interesting for me to help the school and the city. That’s why I’m a member of the First Movement,” said Sophia.
In addition to the passport, the young people received a copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, as well as a lapel badge of the “First Movement”.
Let us remind you that supporting talented, active and enterprising youth is a priority of state policy. Support for participants in a special military operation and their family members is also the focus of attention of the authorities. The municipality pays special attention to the listed categories of the population. The city budget adopted yesterday for the next three years is based on municipal programs, including those that spell out measures to support children belonging to these categories. These are the programs “Development of youth policy in the city of Krasnoyarsk” and “Social support for the population of the city of Krasnoyarsk”.
