The competitions were held in individual and team competitions according to the Swiss system in 7 tournaments. Team points were taken into account based on the three best results of athletes from each team, which was allowed to include no more than five people.

The best results in the SUEK team were shown by Andrey Velikoselsky, Director of Economics and Finance of JSC SUEK-Krasnoyarsk, and Artyom Polyakov, Chief Specialist of the Investment Department – 5 points each, and leading specialist Dmitry Noskov – 4.5 points. In the team competition with a score of 14.5 points, the coal miners confidently took bronze and were awarded medals and a cup for 3rd place.

It should be noted that the company’s chess players are among the strongest in the Siberian Federal District.
