The conflict in the Solorz family is growing. The billionaire loses control over Interia

The dismissal of Zygmunt Solorz from the supervisory board of Interia is the only change in the company's management for almost three years. Polsat Group took over it from Bauer Media Group in 2020 for PLN 422 million.
It was then that its supervisory board was established, in which – apart from Zygmunt Solorz – his sons also sat: Tobias Solorz and Piotr Żakas well as the then president of Telewizja Polsat, Stanisław Janowski, and Maciej Stec, vice-president of strategy at Cyfrowy Polsat.
As Wirtualne Media points out, everyone is still a member of the council. Zygmunt Solorz was removed from it.

Zygmunt Solorz and his wife Justyna Kulka have been in conflict with their children since 2024. It is about the conditions of succession in the billionaire's business empire. In the summer of 2025, Zygmunt Solorz lost the position of chairman of the supervisory board of Cyfrowy Polsat, on which he had sat since 2008.
Shortly thereafter, another change occurred – Zygmunt Solorz's wife lost her position on the supervisory board of Polsat Media in September, and Solorz himself was dismissed from the position of chairman. Both were also dismissed from the supervisory board of PAK-PCE, a subsidiary of Cyfrowy Polsat operating in the energy industry.
In October, Solorz lost control over Elektrim, and Justyna Kulka was dismissed from the supervisory board of Netia – one of the key companies belonging to the Cyfrowy Polsat group.
