December 14 11:23

In the Abansky district, state traffic inspectors helped the driver of a car that had stalled in the cold. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In the evening, while patrolling the Kansk-Aban-Boguchany highway, traffic police inspectors found a truck on the highway with the engine turned off, with a man inside the car.

As the police found out, due to the low temperature – that evening it dropped below 30 degrees – the engine of the vehicle stopped working.

“State traffic inspectors put the man in their car to warm him up, then took him to the nearest settlement, where he was able to buy diesel fuel and a burner for heating,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

Thanks to the joint efforts of traffic police officers and the driver, the engine was started. Having made sure that the car was in good working order, the traffic police wished the man a good road and continued their work to ensure road safety.
