Alexander Lukashenko with gifts for Donald Trump. Jewelry and icon

Alexander Lukashenko gave gifts to Donald and Melania Trump, the Belarusian propaganda outlet BelTA reported on Sunday. Citing television material from the state-owned station Biełaruś 1, the agency indicated what exactly the American presidential couple received.

The Belarusian dictator gave Melania Trump richly decorated jewelry in the shape of cornflowers, also known as cornflowers. These flowers are considered one of the national symbols of Belarus.

Alexander Lukashenko also sent Donald Trump and his wife an icon of Saint. Nicholas of Myra (also known, especially in the Orthodox tradition, as Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker). The modern figure of Santa Claus is based on him. “In America, this saint is greatly revered,” BelTA emphasized in a statement.
