– This is not a message to our Polish friends, they are not at war, so it is understandable that they are not ready for such things. But even if you compare: 810 [dronów]and we shot down over 700, and they, I think, have 19 drones and shot down four. They were not [ataku] rockets or ballistics. And of course they will not be able to save people if a massive attack occurs – said Zelnski on Tuesday in an interview with Sky News.

Kosiniak-Kamysz was asked about the words of the Ukrainian president at Wednesday's briefing at the Land Forces Training Center in Orzysz. The head of the Ministry of National Defense assessed that these words were “unnecessary and false”. – I can agree with the fact that we are not at war, the law is different, the impact is different – he emphasized.
Kosiniak-Kamysz noted that he was repeatedly asked if Polish soldiers were ready to shoot down objects, which “did not take place in fact in any of the other Natural countries”, although-as he noted-“not only Poland is so close to the war theater.” – I always said that if the need arises, the weapon will be used. It happened – he said.
As the head of the Ministry of National Defense emphasized, Poland is a peace state and will not leave this road. Similarly – as he pointed out – NATO activities are carried out. He also assured that the “iron defender” exercises are not intended to provoke anyone. As he added, if not for the help of Poland for Ukraine and other NATO countries, Ukraine would be very difficult for the last three years, and it would be impossible to carry out many activities. He declared that he was sure of “our skills and abilities”.

The Ukrainian president explained during the interview that the Ukrainian air forces together with anti -aircraft defense units, mobile groups, fighters and unmanned intercepting aircraft is a multi -system structure. He reminded that all this worked during a recent attack as many as 810 Russian drones, of which 700 were shot down, which – according to Zelanski – is a significant number.
Zelanski added that Ukraine can train military from partner countries, because these countries helped a lot from the very beginning of the defensive war with Russia.
On the night of September 9-10, the Operational Command of the Armed Forces types reported that during the night attack of the Russian Federation on Ukraine, Poland airspace was repeatedly violated by drones. As he emphasized, “this is an act of aggression that created a real threat to the safety of our citizens.”
Drones, which were a direct threat, were shot down by Polish and allied aviation.
