December 13, 1972

At the ceremonial meeting of the regional and city committees of the CPSU, the regional and city Councils of Working People's Deputies, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the founding of the USSR, it was noted that About 50 large industrial enterprises provide the national economy with various products and consumer goods. In preparing for a worthy celebration of the anniversary of the USSR, industry workers fulfilled the eleven-month plan by 102% and sold additional products worth 3.4 million rubles.

Teams from the textile, clothing and knitting factories, the power transformer plant, the Tunguska alloys office, the Londokovsky lime plant, the Obluchensky forestry enterprise and others achieved great success in fulfilling their obligations during the work shift in honor of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the USSR. Over the 38 years of the region’s existence, its cultural appearance has changed beyond recognition. At the service of workers are 117 houses of culture, clubs, 154 libraries, a local history museum and five folk museums, three folk theaters, seven music schools, and 222 film installations.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the USSR, the Jewish Folk Theater was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the regional committee of the CPSU, the regional executive committee and the regional trade union for its success in the communist education of workers.

December 13, 1975

The XXVIII Birobidzhan city party conference discussed the reports of the city committee of the CPSU and the audit commission of the city party organization. It was noted that during the years of the Ninth Five-Year Plan, the volume of products sold increased by 42%, the active part of fixed assets increased by 11%, and the level of capital productivity by 7%. In the adopted resolution, the conference determined measures to implement the state plan and socialist obligations for 1976 and subsequent years of the five-year plan.

The party conference elected a new composition of the CPSU city committee and the audit commission.

December 13, 1941

On this day, Anatoly Mikhailovich Reva, Honorary Citizen of the city of Birobidzhan, Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR, was born.

Anatoly Mikhailovich was born in Barnaul, Altai Territory. In 1946, the family moved to Birobidzhan. Anatoly studied at secondary school No. 8, then moved to evening school and successfully graduated.

In 1959 he was drafted into the Armed Forces and served in tank forces in Kamchatka. After demobilization in 1963, he entered the Blagoveshchensk Musical and Pedagogical School to study choral conducting. In 1967, he was assigned to the children's music school in the village. Tynda is a music teacher in the accordion class.

In 1968, Anatoly Mikhailovich returned to Birobidzhan and worked as a music teacher in secondary school No. 1, a children's music school, worked as a teacher in a pedagogical school in music classes, and for 17 years in a regional college of culture.

Anatoly Mikhailovich developed his own training program for double-row harmonica. He compiled a collection of transcriptions of works for two-row harmonica, transcriptions of modern pop music for accordion, arrangements of folk songs for accordion, etc.

Anatoly Mikhailovich was awarded state, regional, municipal and public awards. He was a laureate of the Mayor of Birobidzhan “Fortune” award in the “Choral Art” category.
