SGK summed up the results of the first months of the heating season and talked about work plans for 2026

The Siberian Generating Company summed up the results of the first months of the heating season and talked about work plans for the next year
The results of the first months of the heating season in large cities located in the area of responsibility of the SGC were presented at an interregional press conference. The event was attended by Director, Director of Heating Networks of SGK Anton Baev and heads of the company’s heating network divisions from Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo and Abakan
The speakers spoke about the readiness of the infrastructure for maximum loads and presented work plans for the next year. Anton Baev, director of heating networks at SGK, said that the heating season in all 17 cities of the company’s responsibility began on time.

“Our company includes 31 thousand houses, including 5 thousand social facilities, and 11 thousand kilometers of heating networks. We entered winter steadily. All heat supply systems, after adjustment and adjustment, returned to normal operation,” noted Anton Baev.
He emphasized that the winter preparation program has been completed in full: all networks have been tested, readiness certificates have been received, and work has been carried out with subscribers and administrations. The volume of investments in the heating network complex of the cities of responsibility of the SGK in 2025 is 23.5 billion rubles. 215 km of communications were replaced. In his speech, Anton Baev paid special attention to the introduction of advanced diagnostic methods.
This is the second year that the company has been actively using in-line diagnostics using robotic systems.
“This is the most modern technology for examining heating networks in our country. We continue to increase the volume of in-line diagnostics. This year, during the non-heating period, 80 km of heating networks were diagnosed. This is the largest figure in the country, and our company fulfills it,” emphasized the director of heating networks at SGK.
He also noted that the company is working to create a special division to work with diagnostic complexes. SGC plans to fully equip it within three years and reach an annual inspection rate of 100–115 kilometers of pipes.

Director of the Krasnoyarsk Heating Network Sergei Ivanov spoke in detail about Krasnoyarsk’s readiness for the cold period. He noted that all heat supply facilities in the city received certificates of readiness. To ensure reliable heat supply to residents, the city annually carries out a large-scale set of measures on heating networks. In 2025, 45 km of heating networks were repaired and reconstructed, and by the end of the year this figure will reach 50 km.
It is important that during repair work, comfort for consumers is maintained. Residents are provided with heat and hot water in full. In addition to updating heating networks, heating network infrastructure facilities are being updated and developed. This year, three central heating points were built in the regional capital, another one was renovated, and five pumping stations were also repaired. The total volume of investments in the network infrastructure of Krasnoyarsk exceeded 4.6 billion rubles.
“The heating networks development program has been implemented since 2020. Over five years, about 300 kilometers of pipelines have been updated in Krasnoyarsk. We are already seeing the results of systematic work. The city went through two winters without serious incidents on the networks,” stated Sergei Ivanov. This positive trend is confirmed by statistics: the number of defects identified during hydraulic tests decreased by 10% compared to last year, and the number of damage to networks in October 2025 decreased by 22% compared to October 2024.
To ensure the efficiency of repair work in Krasnoyarsk, 25 teams are involved daily, two of which work around the clock. The large-scale program for updating heating networks, which is being carried out in Krasnoyarsk, requires systematic technical equipment. Therefore, the division is constantly working to replace and increase rolling stock units.
In 2025, the heating network's fleet was replenished with 11 new vehicles, including a backhoe loader and a truck crane. The delivery of two more units of equipment is expected: a wheeled tractor and a Moskvich car. A car of this brand is already in use by power engineers – it is powered by modern electric power, which meets modern environmental requirements. In addition to heavy equipment – excavators, dump trucks, Krasnoyarsk heating networks have modern mobile emergency repair shops. These are fully equipped “professionals on wheels” capable of carrying out repairs anywhere in the city.
Relocation and renewal of 42 km of heating networks is planned for 2026 in Krasnoyarsk. Work planning is based on the results of in-line diagnostics, including the use of robotic technology, as well as plans for the territorial development of the city and the urban environment.
Energy workers also pay great attention to the improvement of areas after completion of repairs on heating networks. The warm autumn of this year significantly extended the time frame for restoration work. To date, about 500 plots have been cleaned up in the regional capital – this is 3.5 times more than last year.
“We have already begun preparations for the next heating season and have begun procurement procedures. Our summer is short, and the volume of repair work is large. Therefore, we are preparing for them in advance, so that once comfortable temperatures are established, we can quickly begin repairs on heating networks and qualitatively prepare for the coming winter,” said Sergei Ivanov, director of the Krasnoyarsk heating network.
