The north, east and central part of Crimea were covered with snow.
Rescuers are pulling cars out of the snowdrifts – three cars are stuck in the area of the Taigan reservoir, Chernopolye and Bogatoye alone. Two people were evacuated from the highway in the Leninsky district. On the roads to Popolnoye and Mezhgornoye, cars are pushed onto the asphalt manually due to the changes. In Dzhankoy, in some places ice blocks prevent you from driving through. The Belogorsk-Feodosia highway is being cleared, but the wind is blowing the snowdrifts back. It is impossible to drive between the villages of Mazanka and Opushki near Simferopol.
In one day, 70% of the monthly precipitation fell in some areas. Utility workers are not yet fully coping with the snow. Crimeans complain that there is not enough equipment and not everything is removed.
