According to public data, 17 out of 25 Russian athletes who arrived at the championship have military ranks. Among them there are also proxies of the illegitimate President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
In the morning, protesters gathered near the new Sports Palace, where the championship takes place. The banner says that Russia is a terrorist country. But the video published by the channel is heard how people chant: “Putin – x … lo.”
Activists also wiped their legs on the flag of Russia and burned it.

Tbilisi Life said that the participants of the action mentioned the sergeant of the Armed Forces of Georgia, a participant in the Russian-Georgian War of 2008, Georgy Anchehelidze, who died from torture in captivity.
“Russian soldiers will never rejoice in the homeland of Anchehelidze,” the activists said.
